As a Senior Case Manager at Enriched Life Home Care Services in Livonia, Michigan, I have been able to work with countless families and caregivers throughout the years. Since our inception, our principles have been rooted in compassion and support for those whom we have been entrusted to care for. Because of this, our company has been rated the number one home care company in Michigan for the past five years, which is one of our proudest accomplishments.

Early on, I realized there was a lot of misinformation and confusion surrounding home care. People often didn’t understand the different types of care available, how to navigate insurance and payment options, and what to expect from a caregiver. That is what ultimately led to the creation of Enriched Life Home Care, and later on down the line, All Home Care Matters.

Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky enough to facilitate and run multiple dementia seminars, caregiver support groups, and educational conferences to help support the communities of Michigan. With each passing experience, the passion my team and I have for helping these wonderful people has only continued to grow.

When the COVID pandemic hit, I realized we could help so many more families and offer them the support and resources we’d been providing to communities throughout Michigan by launching a podcast and YouTube channel. We had experienced such a tremendous response to our seminars and conferences that this felt like the perfect next step.

Birth of a Podcast

All Home Care Matters podcast logoThus, All Home Care Matters was born. Our main goal in creating this platform was to provide support, resources, tips, and discussions to families, caregivers, and individuals facing long-term care issues. We address issues that affect families, caregivers, and individuals facing long-term care challenges, and aim to help answer the questions so many of them have.

Our podcast and YouTube channel help caregivers and families navigate the complex world of care. Through our episodes, we share stories, offer tips and advice, and provide information on the latest research and advancements in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. We want to help caregivers and their loved ones feel empowered and confident in their ability to provide the best care possible.

We feature many of the world’s leading dementia influencers, educators, advocates, and innovators to help bring more awareness and support to the families and their loved ones who are on this journey.

I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that families face when caring for their loved ones. Our unwavering goal has been to help families gain knowledge and navigate these challenges, and we take our role in this very seriously. The connection we’ve been able to create with our listeners has been truly magical to experience. Sharing stories and hearing from our listeners is one of the most incredible aspects of what we do.

Balancing the demands of running a company and producing a podcast and show has not always been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. Knowing that we are making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, and helping to demystify home care for others, makes it all worth it. Whether through our caregiving services or our podcast, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
